Future Prophecies

Future Prophecies were one of the first few DJs I got introduced to tracks like Final Fantasy, September, Plastic Dreams, Rage and Dreadlock, Black Dragon, 417 and many more all still up there with my favourite tunes. September + Plastic Dreams being my favourite two out of the 2.5 hours of Future Prophecies tracks on my iTunes still listen to them regularly.
I probably need to expand my collection (get full albums) still not looked around much I was more than happy with the music I had of theirs (still am) listened to some on YouTube but that's about it.
Any recommendations to listen to please let me know :)

The Qemists

I first heard of  The Qemists in 2009 I think, I heard Stompbox (Spor Remix) one night after I came home drunk think it was on dnbradio or something along those lines not sure, but absolutely loved it.
it's a borderline insane tune but at the same time just an amazing track, with my drunkenness taking it to the next level around the 2 minute mark -grin.
I then went on to listening to their Join The Q album and it became a regular on my iPod, listened to it many many times!
Didnt like most of their song off their 2010 album not listened to it much

Sub Focus

Just searched through my music turns out I didn't have many of my sub focus tunes loaded into my iTunes!
I have been missing out! Various 30min-1hour Vs and 2hour Radio1 Essential mix hiding away in my external hard drive after I formatted a while ago. I had about 4 Sub focus tracks loaded overall
It's nice to listen to music that you haven't listened to in a while.

I discovered Netsky through youtube about a year and a half ago or so and it was "Netsky - Your way"
the first track of his  i heard and loved it, still love it now and many other of his tracks.
His beats are amazing hope you enjoy!

I don't have much Cyantifics music but I love the Ghetto Blaster album Flashback being one of my favourites.

I have had the album on my iPod for years, not looked for any new tracks only the ones i have come across on YouTube need to get me some new stuff!

I listen to a lot of Pendulum old and new and have always liked them, I like the electronic rock style they have although im not into rock i think it works with a dnb beat, they also making dnb without the rocky vibes all round greatness. It's great how hes got a guitar with buttons for the synth sounds too looks cool as you will see below.

I have heard many Stan SB tracks over time, he puts a nice upbeat twist on most of his music and his vocals really suit his music style. His tracks just make me want to listen to more.

He puts out a lot of previews on soundcloud in different variety's of music mostly drum and bass and dubstep which often leaves people begging for more.

Welcome To The Jungle

Jungle

I don't have a big jungle collection although I do enjoy it but there is so many different sub-categories of jungle, some are just normal dnb to me and some are very strong reggae beats.

Any suggestions of who to listen to would be great not listened to much jungle recently would like some new tracks.

My Love For Drum And Bass

I have been listening to drum and bass for around 6-7 years now I think, after a friend introduced me to it sending me song after song over Msn Messenger all them yeas ago.

Since then I have been listening to it none stop and collecting endless amounts of songs (.FLAC & .MP3) as I go listening to various artists on various different radio shows, dnbradio to name one.

There is one thing about dnb I'm not really into and that is MC's trying to rap/freestyle or whatever you want to call it over tracks which happens a lot on weekend radio shows. Cant beat a bit of Jungle dnb though :D

My favourite dnb genre is Liquid typically because or the smooth chilled more melodic flowing beats, but saying that I like any other type of dnb just as much. I can listen all day to dnb and literally go onto YouTube find any dnb playlist and litsen to 99% of the songs.

Hopefully my blog will give you an insight to the world of Drum and bass and many of its different styles and things influencing the world of Drum and bass.

I hope you enjoy, because I sure as hell do!
